We were very disappointed with the service we received when selling our property.

We repeatedly had to chase for updates and information, and communication throughout the process was poor. Responses to our buyer’s solicitors did not appear to be made in a timely manner, which added unnecessary stress.

Six months after completion we were contacted and told we owed additional money relating to a servicing issue, but the solicitor was unable to explain why. This later turned out to be an error, causing avoidable worry.

We also had to chase the return of our retention fee six months after it was due, receiving it only after a second follow-up and without any apology.

Having since used another conveyancing firm, the difference in service has been clear. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this firm.

Kerry was fantastic. Much much more thorough in her documentation and questioning during our initial meeting to draft our will than a solicitor we have used in the past. This was hugely reassuring. The explanations of the various clauses in plain English was also really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Foster Harrington for wills.

Ciara and Sophie recently helped us with our sale and purchase, and are without doubt two of the best solicitors I've worked with (and I was in estate agency for a number of years). It was a very complicated sale, involving a tricky management agent, a third party, and Herrington Carmichael solicitors who were acting for our buyer and were probably the most incompetent I've come across.

Nevertheless, Ciara was relentless, and her professionalism when dealing with these challenges was outstanding. The communication throughout the whole process was amazing, and there was full transparently whether it was a positive or negative update. I don't think our sale would have ever happened if we didn't have Ciara on our side.

Sophie dealt with our purchase, her professionalism and efficiency dealing with any challenges was admirable. And again, her communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. She also worked with Ciara on our sale towards the end, and added some extra pressure on to our buyer's solicitors to get it done in time.

I would also like to say thank you to Aisha and Zahra, who helped out with a few bits on the way and were a pleasure to deal with.

We will, without a doubt, be using Ciara and Sophie when it is time to move again! We are very grateful for your support during the process.
