I moved back to Plymouth during a difficult time while going through a divorce. Although my Decree Absolute had been granted, I still needed to finalise the Clean Break Order.

I had to get them to come to me as I'm limited to walking and it was so easy to arrange on both occasions too write my will and to sign it, Mike gave me all the information I needed and was very efficient and then Janet came out with another lady to witness me signing my will

EDIT - As Evans Harvey have replied, I can confirm that my review is not factually incorrect. An appointment was not made 'without undue hassle' an appointment was never made. There was only 1 occasion were we came into the office & the co-owner had made a special trip, to bring in our ID. He happened to have holiday so was able to make the trip. As previously specified, NO due diligence concerns were EVER communicated to me until after I complained.

Evans Harvey have been nothing but difficult when we were trying to sell our house. Insisted that we come into the office to be seen face to face (even though we’d already been in) when one of us lives 2 hours away. I explained multiple times that this wasn’t possible due to logistics & the person in question working nights/overtime. They were insistent on expecting him to go without sleep for a face to face appointment that could of been done over the phone/zoom.. anything! It’s the 21st century! At no point were any reasons provided to me as to why they were so insistent on being so unaccommodating. When I complained, I was eventually given reasons saying they had concerns about the transaction. None of which were ever voiced to me. We ended up changing solicitor & they then had the audacity to send me a £200 bill! I would suggest using a solicitor that doesn’t make you feel like a criminal & actually works for their client.
