I approached Doyle Clayton for legal help and was charged £400 just for an initial assessment, only to be told they couldn’t take on my case. I feel this was unfair and unreasonable — especially since the fee didn’t result in any actual legal support or action. I explained my financial difficulties to their accounts department, particularly to a person named Jason, but my concerns were dismissed. Instead, I received what felt like threatening email, including warnings about debt recovery and late fees.
While this might be standard procedure for the company, receiving such messages when you're already struggling financially is incredibly disheartening. I would have
expected more empathy and flexibility, especially from a legal firm.

I am a Solicitor and currently involved in a purchase from a major PLC company taking over employees. I have instructed Dan Begbie-Clench to advise me and deal with all TUPE Regulations etc. So far so good. He is very efficient and very responsive. I will highly recommend him to anyone who requires his services.
