Appalling lack of communication and engineered delaysAbsolute nightmare dealing with Devall Law. Their complete lack of communication has cost us thousands. They took an £8,000 deposit for a property transaction but then withheld vital documents, making it almost impossible for us to actually proceed with the purchase on time. Because they dragged their feet and starved us of information, we were forced to request extra time. They then had the audacity to charge us an additional £3,000 for this extension—even though the delay was entirely their fault. They do not reply to emails, they do not answer the phone, and they use their own administrative failures to squeeze more money out of clients. Completely untrustworthy and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs

Horrible firm to deal with, my solicitor can not get anyone to talk to, she gets no reply to any ways of communication as we bought a property from auction they charged us stupid amount of money which was completed in just 10 days . And we overpaid them then once we realised that we have been asking back the £1475 for 8 months they don’t even reply. We are going to report them to police and SRA . Stay away

Appalling service and completely unprofessional conduct from Devall Law. Communication was virtually non-existent despite repeated phone calls and emails, promised call-backs never happened, and emails went unanswered until the matter was escalated.

At a critical stage of a legal matter, Devall Law demonstrated no sense of urgency, no ownership, and no accountability. When a response was eventually provided, responsibility was deflected elsewhere rather than addressing the firm’s own delays and lack of action.

The clear impression was that the matter was left sitting unattended while the client was kept in the dark. Being paid to provide a professional legal service and then failing to communicate or proactively progress matters is unacceptable. The lack of transparency, poor case management, and failure to move things forward caused unnecessary stress, frustration, and delay.

This experience fell well below the standard expected of a competent legal firm. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
