Having initially had a consultation with a solicitor at the Guildford office, who seemed to be very good, I discovered that she was on maternity leave when I needed representation, and I was given a different solicitor at their Basingstoke office, who at the time seemed to be ok. However, since the hearing, I have discovered that the advice that I was given by her was either incorrect, insufficient or incomplete.
Prior to the court hearing, the solicitor at the Basingstoke office transferred me to a solicitor at their Southampton office, because they were nearer to the court, which didn't actually make any difference, as I was being represented by a Barrister, not one of their solicitors. This solicitor happened to be on leave at the time of my hearing, so she shouldn't have been given my case anyway. The Southampton office were utterly useless, and their incompetence (by a solicitor who is also a director) meant that I actually missed the first court hearing.
A lack of proactivity, general incompetence, and changes of solicitor, made the final outcome very different to what it should have been, with an unnecessary intervention taking place.
I had legal aid for this case, and with hindsight, CLP just pushed it through so that they got paid - the outcome was irrelevant and clearly didn't matter to them.
The incompetence and failings of this business has had a massive negative impact on the life of my children, and my life.
I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Absolute disgrace.
Totally incompetent non objective and not interested in acting in the best interests of the client or child. Poor communication if any and they just go through the motions to get paid. Their barrister basically told me he didn't have time to look at all my evidence and that the judge would just agree with the local authority and I shouldn't appose an SGO which meant I lost my daughter for 15 years - in the process of Sueing this company do not use them!!

Like a lot of lawyers....No interest in your kids just the money.
