Big thanks to Jenn Ridley and the staff at Baker Law. I recently had to deal with the sale of a property, as an executor, which has now completed.
Jenn handled the conveyancing for the sale and was very professional and knowledgeable. Over and above that she was very friendly and reassuring during some stressful moments. She would always see me at short notice and was very patient with my questions.
I can certainly recommend Baker Law to anyone selling their property.

ery disappointing experience. The firm rarely responds to emails, and even after phone calls, they promise to get back to you but never do. Their handling of my house purchase was poor — money was still owed, and they failed to chase it up properly on my behalf. The service was slow, communication was almost non-existent, and there were several false promises along the way. I would not recommend Baker Law Solicitors based on my experience

Helen dealt with probate after my mother died and I had nothing but excellent service from her and her assistant. Professional, prompt and exacting.........did what she said she would and I was a happy client. On the conveyancing side, a different matter and one of the conveyancing executives (won't name shame here) was so slow and lacked client communication, so much so that my son nearly lost his house purchase. So I think it just depends on what service you require and who you get - obviously competent people and not so competent people. I am giving 4 stars as the service I got as a direct client was really great - only knocking 1 star off as we got dragged in as an indirect client and saved my son from losing his first house purchase!
