We were recommended Attwaters to handle a house purchase. During the onboarding process the junior lawyer asked a ludicrous amount of information prior to engagement. This included asking for audited accounts of a family trust (that was used for inheritance more than 6 years ago) and a death certificate from my grandfather. This level of information is completely unnecessary and frankly grotesque. It is clear that they cannot take a reasonable approach to handling compliance and are more interested in picking through your personal finances than they are helping you navigate a purchase process.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Attwaters Loughton on the purchase of a new home, and the sale of our previous one, and cannot recommend them highly enough.
