Very unprofessional and rude, specifically the practice manager. I found both the manager and director to lack professionalism, speaking over each other uncoordinated. Whilst sat awkwardly waiting for the director of the firm to come off the phone, I couldn’t help but notice the right state the office was in as I saw legal aid applications and printed emails of nfa verdicts and other such correspondence all over the place, which was concerning to me. I felt as if I were being mocked to my face by the manager speaking to the director about me condescendingly in my own presence. I felt spoken to rudely, unprofessionally and in a demeaning manner by the manager whilst I spoke to her manner fully as it is within my moral code to be kind and compassionate to frail, elderly people. I remained calm, respectful and polite whilst I continued to feel spoken to rudely and disrespectfully, unprovoked. If guvs try dump you onto these lot, my best advice would be tell your peoples to set you up a gofundme page.

I spoke to Mr Ashraf from Ashcott Solicitors when a family member urgently needed a solicitor at the police station. He was recommended by a family friend and initially spoke to me on the phone, asking me to pass his details to the police. However, shortly after, he became completely unreachable despite multiple calls to both his mobile and landline. Due to this lack of professionalism, we had to arrange another solicitor. Would not recommend.

I want to say a big thank you to Karibo who works for Ashcott. I spoke several times on the phone to him over 6 months when I was facing awful alledged charges and he offered me professional, knowledgable advice which offered me comfort that things may not turn out anywhere near as badly as I anticiplated (which was the case). Had I needed a criminal solicitor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would certainly feel totally confident in pointing people in his direction!
