Despite providing the requested information, I was given inconsistent and contradictory instructions by their team, including Holly Jackson and Wuraola Malick. I was initially advised that an alternative payment route via Santander would be used, and I provided all required details. After delays, I was then told this route could not proceed, effectively resetting the process and wasting time.
There has been no clear timeline, no accountability, and no proactive communication. I have had to repeatedly chase for updates.
This delay is now directly preventing me from starting a civil case to recover my personal belongings, as the funds being withheld are required to proceed.
A formal complaint has now been raised and will be escalated if not resolved promptly.

Ascent Legal is a disgraceful and predatory company. Despite having a fully agreed payment plan in place and making all payments on time, I received multiple threatening letters on 24th January 2025, warning of eviction. These letters didn’t even include basic legal details like a court date or time just vague intimidation tactics.
Their handling of customers is appalling, with zero accountability or professionalism. Formal complaints have been ignored, and they continue to harass people who are meeting their financial obligations. Their tactics are aggressive, misleading, and completely unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs!

My experience with Ascent has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their complete lack of communication and disregard for customer service is appalling. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, I have been left ignored and stranded between them and Santander, with no one taking responsibility or providing any clear instructions on how to proceed with something as simple as returning property keys.
It’s baffling how a company can operate with such incompetence. I’ve been left feeling humiliated and helpless, wasting my time chasing them for basic information that should have been provided immediately. The level of unprofessionalism here is staggering—no follow-up, no clarity, and no respect for their clients’ time or concerns.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Ascent. If you want to feel frustrated, ignored, and completely disrespected, then by all means, work with them. Otherwise, steer clear of this disorganized and unresponsive company.

The so called "expert" they sent to court was thicker than a whale omelette. Lost TWICE after they got told to put up or shut up by the judge.
