AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS!

Abbotts Martin and their staff have been harassing me since January 2024 with numerous, threatening letters pertaining to a case that involves one of their staff members relatives. Clear prejudice and conflict of interest to start the review...

Despite my request for no further dealings, I have received several letters over the past 2 years that have been threatening and demanding. I have also received unknown private calls from their team threatening my family and I. As well as this over the past two years I have been bullied, misgendered and taken advantage of. Despite me warning the firm of my recent ill health and mental health challenges, they continued to bombard me and demand an excessive amount of monies!

I have followed their complaints procedure but have repeatedly been ignored by management and their director simply advised they are not in the wrong and that I should stop complaining because I am not even a client of the firms? As a recipient of their bad worded correspondence, IO am well in my rights to complain and share feedback.

Therefore I will have no other option now than to escalate my complaint to the SRA and share my feedback here to warn everyone of how bad this firm is.

To prove how much of a joke this firm is, I am attaching a screenshot to show how they post fake reviews. Alexander Christian posted a review then shortly after, a supposed client of theirs praised their team member called Alexander Christian - Here is an evident example as to why you should not trust these guys! Their staff members post reviews! Very embarrassing and unprofessional!

They are rude and incredibly unprofessional! I requested no further contact from Alice Holtom on several occasions but was repeatedly ignored and exploited. Finally after I advised them that I will share my feedback online, they deemed it appropriate for Hasan to intervene to continue to send threatening correspondence.

After finally agreeing to cease contact, they have now today contacted me 6 months after the last correspondence to demand £8,000! What for? For simply no apparent reason and no pre-warning. They expect me to pay costs they have supposedly incurred but what's comical is the fact that they have admitted their client who is a relative of their solicitor didn't pay a penny! So they are expecting me to pay for works that weren't even charged!

NEVER USE THIS FIRM!

Ruby don’t just help me she helped change my life and she treated me like a human being who mattered. I honestly thought help like that that Ruby offered me didn’t exist anymore. I’d lost faith. I was homeless and desperate for such a long time. It didn’t seem like the council cared much or perhaps were so inundated an underfunded that they didn’t have the time to help a vulnerable woman who was battling with anxiety and depression and homelessness who wasn’t being heard. She literally just sorted it for me. She spoke for me when I felt like I couldn’t speak for myself. Because of Ruby I now have a council flat that I am proud of. I feel safe and motivated to do better and to make something of myself after I had literally lost everything. She was like a guardian angel not just treating me like any other client but like I said a human. She has helped me overnight become a better Mum, a better person and a person who wants to give back. I’ve never met anyone like Ruby. She should one hundred percent get everything she wants in her career because I have a feeling shins younger than me but so grounded, so professional, kind but honest and clearly an exceptional communicator for what is right. A trusted, loyal and reliable employee I bet and also someone who doesn’t stop when the clocks turn to and or day. Everyone needs empathy in their roles such as this but not everyone has it. I’ll do you proud Ruby an I am so so so so grateful. In my illness I have had times when I have wanted to just give up. I don’t deserve it was my narrative but Ruby made me feel like I do. Thank you 💕

My experience with this firm has been nothing but top notch. My housing case was handled by Ruby and it ended with us getting the outcome that we wanted and needed. I would recommend this firm to family and friends who has any housing issues to be sorted out. Thank you again for everything that you did for me. I am so very grateful.

Alex Christian was incredibly kind and helpful. I was desperate to find representation 5 days before a civil case and at the last minute.
