We contacted Claire Watson to represent us after receiving recommendations to go with Claire specifically at Rogers & Norton. Claire was very thorough and guided us through what was a long process in the end for both selling and buying a property. At times we had to wait a while for replies due to Claire's busy workload, however when it mattered Claire communicated promptly to get everything over the line.

Buying and selling a house is an arduous business. It sits just behind death, divorce and being outed as a friend of Jeffrey Epstein on the continuum of causal human horrors.

It helps however if you have a calm and cool professional batting in your corner.
In our case that professional was Claire Watson.

Claire was always pleasant and professional and as she is so experienced with the alchemy of conveyancing and the magic of exchange and completion; that her authority and knowledge took much of the stress out of the process..

I'd have no qualms about using Rogers & Norton again and having Claire Watson as our guide.

We used Rogers & Norton for the conveyancing on our property purchase. Unfortunately, after completion we discovered several serious issues with the property that we believe should have been identified during the conveyancing process.

What has been most disappointing is the lack of support since raising these concerns. Rather than helping us understand our position or discussing the issues constructively, we were effectively told we would need to spend thousands more in legal fees just to get advice on matters connected to their original work.

The position we find ourselves in is incredibly stressful and frustrating. We feel let down by the service we received and disappointed by the unwillingness to assist once problems came to light.

Not the best experience, Roger and Norton handled the sale of my house. Steve Clarke was the person who was handling everything, however contact between myself and them was not great.
Then when everything was completed I was without a house and with no money for 4 days as they missed the “payment” time to send it over.

But not only did that slightly annoy me, I then had to pay extra to my mortgage company because Roger and Norton didn’t send the money to NatWest till the 18th even though the completion date as the 15th.

Therefore I had to pay extra days interest.

Not the best experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend or use them again.

We recently used Claire Watson for the sale and purchase of our house and we cannot recommend her enough! She was professional but personable and made our experience a lot less stressful. Claire was thorough, easy to contact, and kept us well informed throught the process. We wouldn't hesitate to work with her in the future!
