I instructed the professional help of De Jure Chambers, Dr Paul Chiy, in relation to a Civil matter which they consulted on and found an outstanding silk barrister to represent me (Edward Morgan KC). Paul Chiy assisted me in court and I honestly couldn't fault him. Even though he didn't receive the court bundle till the night before the hearing due to Court error, when he spoke with me it was clear he had read all off it and was well versed in it which was appreciated, especially as he had such a short time to read it! He was friendly, supportive, informative and gave good advice and he was honest about if points I made were, or weren't suitable/child focused. He made me feel at ease. During the hearing his questioning of the evidence put across the points I wanted to make, and in the end I walked out of court with everything I had hoped for. I am incredibly grateful for his support during my hearing. I would highly recommend him and his Chambers. They are a real credit to family law! As a landlord for supported living service providers, we approached De Jure Chambers for advice on a couple legal matters. One concerned eviction proceedings based on the existing tenancy agreement with a difficult tenant. The other concerned options for alternative tenancy agreements, mindful of our service offering.
