These are without doubt the worst solicitors I have ever encountered. Whilst a certain amount of delaying is inevitable when dealing with legal matters, the team at Whitehead Monckton plumb new depths. If you are hoping to complete your objective within an 18month period avoid this firm like the plague. You have been warned.

Very disappointing experience. I was told my divorce wouldn’t cost “tens of thousands”, yet the final bill came to around £34,000.
Towards the end, when things were already wrapping up, I kept receiving unnecessary chargeable letters asking for updates about matters that were already in progress. Extremely annoying and unnecessary.
The final straw was I was disputing £700 of the bill. Instead of emailing me, they sent letters to an old address and issued a CCJ. After spending £34k with the firm, that felt completely unnecessary and very disappointing.
