Jackie and the Shergroup team were incredible in helping me recover the full amount owed from a difficult tenant. Jackie Morgan kept me updated throughout the entire stressful process and proved to be an absolute asset to the company. I had completely lost hope of ever getting this money back, but her professional, informative, and knowledgeable approach made it happen. I am very happy with the service and highly recommend them.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been unacceptable from start to finish.
I instructed Shergroup to enforce a High Court writ. From the outset, communication was poor. I received little to no meaningful updates unless I repeatedly chased, and even then responses were inconsistent. I was passed between staff and promised callbacks that did not happen.
Enforcement eventually succeeded and the debtor made payment by card on 9 April 2026. I was advised the funds would clear within 3 to 5 working days. However, I was not proactively updated when this happened. I had to chase Shergroup on 16 April 2026 to ask what was happening, and only then was I told that the funds had actually cleared into their client account on 14 April 2026.
It was also only after I chased that I was then informed, for the first time, that the funds would be held for a further 28 days. This had never been explained at the outset and no clear legal basis was provided. There is no stay of enforcement in place and no formal application to set aside has been served.
At the point of writing, my funds remain withheld despite enforcement being complete and despite the money having already cleared into their account. The delay, poor communication and lack of transparency have caused unnecessary and avoidable financial stress.
For a regulated firm handling High Court enforcement, the standard of communication and client handling has fallen well below what should reasonably be expected.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

Update after the reply: In response to the owner’s reply, I need to clarify a few factual points.
I have not spoken to anyone called “Sue”, and I do not know who that refers to. Since last week, I have not received any meaningful update unless I have chased repeatedly.
I have not had a consistent point of contact. I am repeatedly told someone will deal with the issue, then communication changes again. This lack of continuity and follow‑through has been a constant problem throughout.
I was informed in writing that funds would be held for 28 days, not 14, and this was only explained after I chased following clearance. This was not explained at the outset.
For a firm acting as High Court Enforcement Officers, the level of communication, clarity, and consistency I have experienced has been extremely poor.

I recently used Shergroup and had a good experience overall.

Communication was clear and fairly quick, and I always knew what was happening with my case. Prashant and Ajeet were both helpful and kept things moving, which made the process easier to deal with.

The enforcement stage was probably the most impressive part. Jordan handled it confidently, and once enforcement started, things moved quickly. Full payment was secured on the same day, which was a big relief.

Overall, the process felt organised and manageable. Thanks to Prashant, Ajeet, and Jordan for their support.

I contacted Shergroup on 02/01/2026, and I got paid on 24/03/2026. I couldn't be more grateful and finally feel like Justice has been served.

After a traumatic experience of being a lodger in London in 2022 (Ladies, stay away from 44 Paveley Street; unfortunately, SpareRoom UK won't do anything to protect you), I had to take the landlord to Court to get my deposit back, after having vacated his property earlier due to his constant harassment and constant changing living conditions.
This was a very painful, time-consuming and emotionally draining process that ended with a Court ruling in my favour in 2023, but nothing happened. The landlord didn't pay, and after wasting money with the Court's bailiffs, I started losing all hope. But, also, I was so disappointed in the Justice system.

Earlier this year, I consulted with ChatGPT (Yes, it's useful), and Shergroup's name came as an option.

I got in contact. I received a prompt response, and after having all my doubts and concerns cleared, I paid the fee and left everything in their hands, wishing for the best.

They kept me informed throughout the process, and a few weeks ago, I received an email asking for my bank details to receive the remittance. I couldn't believe it... They did it.
I finally got my money back, without having to stress about it, and so quickly. If I had known about them earlier, they would have been my first choice!
