After my experience with DCK Solicitors, I believe people should know exactly what they might face before signing contracts or paying large legal fees.

I paid around £2,500 to DCK Solicitors to assist with my immigration matter, trusting them with a case that directly affected my future and my family’s life in the UK.

Unfortunately, my application was later rejected as invalid. Throughout the process, there was confusion regarding key issues relating to documents and the handling of the application. Following later discussions with the firm, concerns surrounding mistakes in the application process were acknowledged. As a client, I expected important issues to be identified and addressed clearly from the outset. Instead, I found myself trying to understand major aspects of my own case after the fact.

What concerned me most was what happened next. After already paying approximately £2,500, I contacted the firm to discuss the situation and next steps. I was then informed that a further payment of approximately £1,000 would be needed to continue and effectively redo work on the case. After investing significant money, trust and time, this left me feeling frustrated and questioning the level of care and responsibility taken with my matter.

Eventually I lost confidence in allowing the firm to continue handling my case and decided to proceed independently.

My advice to anyone considering DCK Solicitors: ask detailed questions, understand possible additional costs, and ensure everything is clearly confirmed in writing before signing anything. Immigration matters affect families and futures, and clients deserve clarity and confidence throughout the process.
