Divorce and Financial Order

I contacted Lupton Fawcett ( now Flint Bishop) concerning matters regarding my divorce. I submitted an on-line enquiry late one evening and received an almost immediate response from Chris Burns. His response enquired whether the following day would be convenient to discuss the matter in more detail. We had the ‘phone consultation, which immediately filled me with confidence and ease. Chris subsequently introduced me to his colleague Sally Hirst to deal with the matter. They explained clearly and very precisely the procedure for me to achieve a Clean Break Financial Order. The D81 Statement of Information form filled me with horror. Sally quickly and calmly resolved that. I was always felt listened to. Sally’s advice and information was clear, precisely conveyed in a friendly manner and professional way. The timeliness of her responses was exemplary. She was usually available or if not would return my call/email within the same day. The documentation was always accurate and extremely well written. Sally consistently kept me up to date of the progress. Her responses to my queries, and there were many, were similarly responded to within an excellent and timely manner.

Suffice to say the outcome was exactly what they advised it would be.

The professionalism of Chris and Sally’s excellent service made a difficult and worrying process so much easier.

Their understanding and kindness was exemplary and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

SCAM!!! Beware. Appalling and completely unprofessional!!! I made an agreement on a price for the work to be done beforehand (around £1,500) I received a parking ticket I had no idea about and needed to make an appeal Richard dealt with it for me and called me to say I needed to transfer him £4,500 as he worked over (asked for it directly into his bank account) I new straight away what he was up to and refused I then received a call back 30 minutes later saying he spoke with Jeremy and decided it’s fine now and I don’t owe the £4,500 (completely tried it on and panicked). I’m a young woman and I think he thought I would fall for it. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Wouldn’t even give 1 star.

Everyone has something bad to say about solicitors but we have had the privilege of having the best out there. Rebecca has been my direct contact over the last few months and she is nothing short of amazing. She is so good at her job and lines of communication. Sarah headed up our house sale and was equally amazing and efficient in all she did for us.

Property sale completed last week. Lupton Fawcett team dealt efficiently with it through the process. Sarah, the solicitor, was fantastic, each time I had a query, I was able to speak to her directly, at the first call. This was my first time selling a property, and she explained everything very well. Robin kept me very well updated during completion, which was very much appreciated. Took a lot of stress out of the experience.
