Do not touch with a barge pole! Gave 1 star only because I have to, but they deserve none!
Personal injury in what should have been an open and shut case. Hit from behind at 30 mph, I was stationary, witnesses around and driver admitted liability. Easy right? It took 6 months to see an orthopaedic surgeon, treatment started a YEAR after the accident. 6 sessions of osteopathy in May/June 23. Maria Hanif, just before the last session, asked if I required more treatment to which I replied 'yes'. Chased her for 8 months asking when I was going to receive the treatment and I received responses ranging from 'no response' to 'we are still waiting for something'. In Feb 2024, Maria Hanif sent me an email telling me that she was waiting for my treatment to finish. I replied 'what treatment?' So to get more treatment, I had to go and see another orthopaedic surgeon to get assessed again because it was over 6 months since my last treatment (no fault of my own). The appointment with Mr Patrick Li was 5 months after this because Flint Bishop needed to get doctors/hospital records etc. Mr Li, who rudely told me a few minutes into the session that 'he only had 30 mins for the appointment, so I had to just answer his questions', decided that I looked fit and healthy (I'm a fitness instuctor...duh!), walked okay, that I was okay. The assessment was purely visual and he asked me to bend down, touch my toes, lean back and lean side to side all of which i can do because its my job. Then stated in his summary that because I had waited a year to get assessed that I was really okay. The year that i had been waiting on Flint Bishop.

Flint Bishop refused to acknowledge their part in the delay and I refused the orthopaedic report as it makes me out to be a liar at best. Since then they have spent 2 years fighting with me, their client, and I have received no more treatment from them in 2 years. 4 years on from the accident (Jul 2022) and no resolution! Maria left/fired, I ended up with Jonathon Cox and now Jake Bland, all trainees and all useless.

Now, I either have to accept their report (which makes me look like a liar), or
get another of THEIR orthopaedic surgeons to assess me at my own cost of £504 (Not sure I trust another one to make the same report) or
Find another solicitor to handle this case (none of whom will touch this case because its over 3 years old).
I paid for my own treatment in the end at the Royal College of Osteopathy last year (Sep 25) and now I have regular treatments every 3 weeks to maintain myself as my hip injury will never completely heal and because of their delays, will never be adequately compensated.
Flint Bishop are only interested in covering their own backs and not their clients. Seriously, if I didn't know better, I would say they were getting a backhander as no solicitors should treat their own client so badly. They may have been good for some people, but they have been awful for others. My advice, if your car insurance company give you Flint Bishop, ask them for a different one.

My boyfriend and I recently used Flint Bishop for the sale of one house and purchase of another. We were assigned Elliot and from the start we could tell he knew his stuff, he was prompt with responses/updates and was very pragmatic.

Ellie assisted and was always a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and professional.

Thank you both, there is no doubt in our minds who we’ll come to if we need a solicitor in the future!

I cannot recommend Sohil the solicitor and Christian the barrister highly enough. From the moment I engaged them, I felt completely confident and comfortable. They were fiercely dedicated, extremely professional, and absolutely dominated in court. Thanks to their expertise, I achieved the best possible outcome. I couldn't have asked for a better team.

Flint Bishop contacted our company about a debt with British Gas, whom we have never had an account with.

We provided evidence of our ongoing complaint to British Gas and evidence that their invoice was for a different address.

We tried to call Flint Bishop, who told us to “just email”. Ksenija, the advisor, refused to handle the call, put us through to anyone senior, and said she would have to terminate the call as we were unable to wait on hold.

Sonya then took over the call after we had been on hold for 10 minutes, and explained that we would need to be put through to British Gas to make a complaint, as they assumed everything they received on the file was correct.

So, essentially, we have spent a significant amount of time trying to correct poor admin and customer service, followed by a collections agency which does not perform any due diligence.
