I had an excellent experience working with RecLaw. They successfully helped me recover funds owed from a permanent placement deal in Germany that I had been unable to collect through other channels.
From the beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and proactive. They quickly understood the situation, provided clear advice, and kept me updated throughout the process. Their expertise in recruitment fee recovery was evident, and they handled the matter efficiently and effectively.
A special thank you to Peter Gwillam, Harvey Dunn, and the wider RecLaw team for their dedication and persistence in securing a positive outcome. Their communication was excellent throughout, and they made what could have been a stressful process straightforward and hassle-free.
I would highly recommend RecLaw to any recruitment business looking to recover outstanding fees or resolve payment disputes. Their results speak for themselves, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Jack at RecLaw was incredibly helpful with a stressful, non paying work client situation . We worked together, discussed options and payment plans and ultimately arrived at a solution meaning the client paid their invoice. Having to instruct a solicitor is never welcome but using a company who you feel you can put your trust in and who work with you, to find a solution, is a must. Can highly recommend Jack and RecLaw. 5*

Very disappointed with my experience with recLaw. I made it clear from the outset that I was only realistically able to proceed if the matter was suitable for a no win, no fee arrangement. I gave a clear overview in writing of what I was looking for and was progressed to a “Quick Advice” service which is a substantial fee is due for this but only payable if you do not instruct them.
During the Teams call, I was advised that the case had little prospect of success and that the firm would not act on a “no win, no fee” basis, with hourly billing being the only option if I wished to proceed to instruction.
While I appreciate solicitors are entitled to provide negative advice, I feel my expectations could have been managed more clearly at an earlier stage based on the information provided before the consultation, their experience of similar cases and the likelihood of success. In my view, the fee charged felt disproportionate to the scope and duration of the work undertaken, and overall I was left very dissatisfied with the experience.

I came to RecLAW with a cross-border fee dispute - a challenging case given the jurisdictional complexities. Peter handled it with professionalism, clear advice, and genuine expertise in the recruitment sector. He understood the nuances of the case immediately and moved quickly when timing was critical. We reached a settlement that I'm satisfied with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RecLAW to any recruiter facing a difficult client dispute.
