What a terrible company. They represented the buyer of my flat. They dragged out my flat sale for over 6 months. Raising many insignificant issues and refusing to work on simple tasks in parallel. They were petty over wording and even rejected indemnity/insurance policies I reluctantly agreed to pay for. In the final week before exchanging contracts, they raised issues that should have been resolved weeks or even months earlier and also requested documents that had already been provided months before. They cost me about £3500 in extra costs due to unnecessary delays, from what I would consider was incompetence, lack or experience or lack of knowledge. I assume the buyer of my flat also had similar extra costs due to there very poor service.
I will be reporting this company to the ombudsman and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Avoid at all costs! Engaged them regarding a name change over a year ago. The solicitors dealing with the paperwork constantly made mistakes (the first was rejected and returned by the courts) meaning that I had to re-attend their offices for corrections three times each with my wife, taking time off work and incurring travel costs. They have now asked me to re-attend again (this will be the 4th time) because of another mistake. What's worse is that I have copied in Hayley Davies, the CEO, in my last communications complaining about the matter and I have been ignored. I wanted to use a solicitor to ensure that the matter/paperwork was completed correctly and swiftly... I should have done it myself. No attention to detail, and poor customer service.

After a serious medical incident involving a family member I was advised to speak to JCP solicitors regarding redress for their ongoing care.
I was well informed all the way through the different aspects of the claim and was involved in conferences with the appointed barrister for the case.
My solicitor Rhian Smith gave me regular updates from the start of the process, up to the day of that we were successful.
Clear communication was very helpful and I was advised of all possible outcomes that may have arisen during the claim.
The service provided was first class and would highly recommend JCP to family and friends.
All staff from receptionist's, assistants and legal secretaries were first class in providing a full service to my family.
