Having used Allington Hughes on several occasions over the years, I can honestly say I have never had a reason to fault them. Their professionalism, communication and expertise have always been excellent, which is why we chose to instruct them again for our recent house sale and purchase.

What should have been a relatively straightforward transaction became significantly more complicated due to circumstances outside their control, yet throughout the entire process they remained professional, knowledgeable, proactive and incredibly patient.

Communication was excellent. We were kept informed at every stage, emails and telephone calls were responded to promptly, and whenever there was an issue they took the time to explain exactly what was happening and what the next steps would be. We always felt that our case was being actively managed rather than simply left to sit in a pile.

Perhaps what impressed us most was their willingness to fight our corner. They challenged unnecessary enquiries, chased relentlessly when other parties failed to respond, and weren’t afraid to pick up the telephone to deal with issues directly rather than allowing delays to continue unchecked. It was clear throughout that they genuinely wanted to get our transaction completed as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Despite facing repeated obstacles that were entirely outside their control, they remained calm, professional and determined. Without their persistence, legal expertise and pragmatic approach, we genuinely believe our move would have taken even longer than it did, if it had completed at all.
