My experience with Taylor Rose Solicitors has been the worst experience I have ever had with a professional service.
Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire process. Emails regularly went unanswered, and when responses did arrive, they were often delayed and unhelpful. The lack of communication caused unnecessary stress and significantly delayed the progress of my matter.
To make matters worse, my name was repeatedly recorded incorrectly despite informing them several times and requesting that it be corrected. It is very frustrating to see basic details continually overlooked, especially when dealing with important legal matters where accuracy is essential.
There also appeared to be no clear chain of responsibility or accountability, making it difficult to get answers or understand who was actually handling my case. The overall service felt disorganised, inefficient, and unprofessional.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Taylor Rose Solicitors to anyone. The delays, lack of communication, repeated mistakes, and poor customer service made what should have been a straightforward process far more difficult than it needed to be. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for legal representation.

Exceptionally poor communication, specifically from Rachel Goodall, a total refusal to offer any accessible accommodation as per 2010 Equality act
Rachel outright refused to answer questions or communicate at all points of the process, only pushy threatening emails if I'm unable to call her immediately
She then dropped the case and told involved parties very different reasons.
Disgusting service, poor attitude and 0 clarification on when I will receive a refund
Avoid her at all costs

We used Taylor Rose / Emma Leighton-Carey for our recent house sale and purchase. TR operate a ‘self employed’ type model so feedback is only on our experience with Emma, which was absolutely fantastic. Emma was introduced to us as we were buying a new build, and our developer suggested Emma, we used her on both the sale and purchase - she was available, proactive, responsive - we never had to chase for updates and in fact she chased us a few times! Totally owned and managed the whole process to make it as stress free as it can be, selling/buying a house! Thanks so much Emma.

Poor. They held up our sale every step of the way while the other solicitors were waiting. Then, on the moving day, they suddenly remembered a £2000 apportionment payment which they forgot to inform of, massively delaying the move. Avoid them, spend more on a proper solicitor.

I was put in touch with Teaghan Jenkins via my estate agent, as I was dealing with a probate sale, it was new to me and stressful.
I must say I’ve heard nightmares about soliciting and the process, but rest assure Teaghan from Taylor rose was 10/10. The process was made super clear and really simple.
Everything was explained to me, nothing was too much of a hassle if I didt understand fully.
Communication from day 1 was really good, I was kept up to date with all the process and days and weeks.
This made my personal situation much easier and stressful.

Absolutely do NOT use. Completely incompetent. Caused massive delays through a lack of inaction and communication and then charged me for 'excessive communication'. Lost my onward purchase due to their incompetence. Really disrespectful, complete lack of urgency or support. Would NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone. Actively would like to discourage people from using their services. Caused me a ridiculous amount of stress.
