Rich and Carr (Syston) administered my late Mum’s estate recently.
Their empathy, professionalism and attention to detail was exemplary.
They worked closely as a team and constantly kept me informed and up to date with how things were progressing.
This took a monumental amount of pressure away from me during what was a particularly difficult and challenging time.

I’d particularly highlight the hard work, research and liaison with external agencies by Sophie and Robyn. They did everything. Banks, utilities, council, HMRC, London Gazette, funeral directors, house clearers, pension providers and more.

All their hard work was then scrutinised (in a good way) by Thomas Ackerley who had constant oversight and provided me with brilliant advice and guidance.

I can’t recommend them highly enough.

To top it all off - their fees were more than competitive and I was genuinely surprised by the final amount considering the many many hours they put in.

I have the misfortune of being on the receiving end of this company for a house purchase in particular John Barr. From the start they have been slow and unresponsive. They communicate via post not email which means the process has been slow and drawn out and when contacted by estate agents for progress updates they haven’t returned calls. I would definitely steer clear of them if you want a quick and well communicated sale or purchase. Ours is dragging on and we have been given no idea of an end date!
