KENNETH BUSH LIMITED

Absolutely awful conveyancers! I had a cash buyer on my property and Kenneth Bush solicitors would not communicate with my conveyancer or even their client. We lost count of how many times my poor conveyancer, my estate agent and the purchaser tried to contact Kenneth Bush. A process that should have taken no more than 4 to 6 weeks took 7 months! At one stage Kenneth would not return calls or correspond for two months.

I bought a property back in 2016 and used Kenneth Bush as my solicitor and I remortgaged the property for the first time last year. During the remortgaging process it transpired that the previous owners names had not been removed from the land registry (even though back in 2016 my solicitor had assured me that this was being dealt with). As the land registry document was wrong I was unable to remortgage my home. After contacting KB about the error it took 3 months for the problem to be rectified. This delay left me in a very difficult position, even more so as by the time the problem was resolved I was on statutory maternity pay and I was unable to prove my income with the new mortgage company. I would avoid using this company at all costs. I nearly lost my home as a result of their error and I made the decision to return to work earlier than planned after giving birth so that I could prove my income to a mortgage company.

Need ID checks for a remortgage. Should be a relatively simple process but no, Kenneth Bush solicitors can't help, my documents could be fake im told. When I called back to discuss the matter, the receptionist was totally disinterested and began yawning over the phone whilst I'm talking. Would not use this firm for anything.

One star is the lowest I could give but if there was an option of none, they would have got that.

Although Kenneth Bush are not acting for us but they are acting for our vendor and our vendors sale, the service and response is diabolical. The delay by one of the directors (we believe her to be) is beyond disbelief. I would never use their conveyancing team or purchase another property by anyone else using them. Expect non responses and long delays which are completely unnecessary. Avoid at all costs.

I would not touch this company for conveyancing. They are utterly incompetent. I have worked in property finance for a number of years and have never experienced such a lack of understanding of the first time buy process ever. A recent case has taken 5 months to NOT go to completion. This is a 3 year old build on a new estate with over 300 houses, one of the queries was "why are people selling their houses"? The obvious answer is because they are not using the incompetent Kenneth Bush for conveyancing!! The lack of expertise in this field is astonishing PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY
