Mr Gallagher in court was amazing. I was so glad to have him representing me and not some of the others who could have done. However, their professionalism and general manners afterwards has been shocking. All they had to do was submit one form online to claim my legal fees back. Then the process takes 4weeks for me to get my fees back. However, 3months after the trial and the one person in the whole practice that deals with these forms informed me that in 3months she hasn’t had the time or chance to submit one form online. It has now been over a year since the incident and I’m still trying to sort things out. My phones calls are never returned. My emails get ignored. I paid them the full amount before they would even talk to me. They seem to lose interested in you once they have your money. The only good thing I can say about this company is Mr Gallagher was great. I certainly would not recommended this practice if you want a professional and speedy service. Having read the other reviews it seems it’s not just me that finds them to drag things on.

I've never known a solicitor take so long for a simple straightforward probate, years.... They update you with nothing, I'm pretty sure they would do nothing if you let them get away with it, but if you do chase them, be prepared to be charged for it. Months to get a valuation as the first person refused to do it as she was scared of a van parked outside, yet another wasn't arranged until weeks and weeks later when we asked what was going on, and were again charged for an update. Months for a cash sale to go through, then a couple of Months to pay bills, now they're final bill was signed off in July so god only knows what the hold up is now, obviously can't ask unless we want to cause a new bill update...

Do not use unless you're satisfied with a simple probate taking 2 and a half years, it took them 8 months to complete a house sale with a cash buyer. They charge for every update but tell you nothing, weve had companies sending letters to family members as they are unable to get any response from Denbys. The final bill was signed off six weeks ago yet we've heard absolutely nothing and they still have it.
