Terrible I telephoned as a new viable client. The secretary was very rude in attitude and said we dont do that. I then started to speak of another issue I needed help with as a vulnerable adult. She hung up on me as soon as I said this. How insulting and rude. She has no buisness being the first representative clients meet when attempting to use these services. In fact I would fire such a disgusting employee. Someone who in not prepared to even listen to what it is you have to say. Im not a cold caller but a potential client.I see a receptionist was hanging up on callers as far back as 3 years. She is obviously still employed here. Must think she has a cushy number. What is it hang up on clients...more time to paint my nails?

I instructed Moorcrofts Solicitors in relation to family court proceedings and my experience was deeply disappointing.

There were significant failures in case preparation and management, including key material not being properly filed or before the court at a critical hearing. This included evidence from parallel proceedings which the court itself later noted had not been received. As a result, the court was required to give further directions for disclosure that should have been dealt with competently in advance.

Communication was poor and reactive rather than proactive. Important matters required repeated chasing, and errors were only acknowledged once the consequences had already arisen. Ultimately, I lost confidence in the firm’s handling of my case and was forced to terminate the retainer and continue as a litigant in person.

This was an extremely stressful experience, particularly given the nature of family proceedings and safeguarding issues involved. I would not recommend this firm to anyone requiring careful, diligent or detail-driven legal representation

Emma McNamara and David Tournafond dealt with three complex Probate matters for me. They were excellent all the way through and could not recommend highly enough.

Morecrofts have handled my late sister's estate since her passing in February 2023 . The estate has just recently been finalised and I have been provided with a very satisfactory full and comprehensive detailed set of accounts and report .
The main person dealing with her estate was Mrs Emma McNamara and I have spoken to and corresponded with her on many , many occasions . ( I live in Northern Ireland ).
I must say I have found her to be professional , efficient and friendly to deal with . She has been very sympathetic and understanding to me throughout this whole process .
She has kept both myself and my co executor fully informed of
all the actions she has taken and of any necessary action required of us .
She has certainly , by her friendly manner , really helped me through this whole complicated process .
David Tournafond who has been the supervising solicitor has also been easy to deal with and extremely helpful.

In closing I would highly recommend them both to any future clients .
