I was represented by Simon Murphy for a personal injury claim. I am grateful for Morecrofts taking this case on despite multiple challenges and helping me to achieve a win and justice was done in this case. Simon has been excellent in instructing the appropriate counsel and litigating my case effectively to a successful conclusion despite multiple issues in the case. Simon was tenacious and it is clear that he is an advocate for survivors of childhood abuse. I would describe the service received as excellent and would be happy to instruct Morecrofts in the future. I have been very impressed by the fact that Morecrofts LLP cares about historical abuse cases and helping victims and survivors to receive an appropriate remedy and bring closure for them.

There were communication issues at the start of the case though before Simon was involved with my case as my initial query was dealt with by another solicitor of the team and I would recommend that the firm ensures that clients are updated promptly on whether a case can be taken on as it took two months to come to a decision at a time which is already stressful for a client.

Iv had very unpleasant experience thru out my divorce settlement.They dnt act in your best interest no communication skills
4 years down the line I received a legal aid bill I wasn’t adware of as I was paying out my own pocket
It’s was shambolic thru out the whole thing

Took £5000 off me and then just before court dropped me and left me to face court on my own, placing my disabled daughter at great risk. The solicitor only worked part time and kept asking for the. Legal aid details which we’re supplied multiple times and I was told they had provisional exceptance yet whilst speaking to legal aid they could find no records of them applying nothing on their system whatsoever.

Having recently used this practice for a divorce and financial settlement case I would strongly recommend NOT using them. The service I received was dreadful from beginning to end and added an enormous amount of
of extra stress to an already very stressful time. At times I felt like I was fighting the solicitor as well as my ex. The secretary and the reception staff where better and tried their best to help.
