Frank was my solicitor for a drug driving offence. Frank was extremely helpful and made sure I was aware of every outcome, the laws behind all actions made my myself, the police and the court. Frank made sure to explain everything in detail to my understanding and answered any questions I had to ask. Going to court to fight a driving ban was an extremely daunting thought. I was highly recommended to Frank as he helped a friend out of an extremely hard situation.

I had 9 points on my licence and then set another speed camera off doing 36mph in a 30mph. This was an automatic ban for 6 months. The problem was I really needed my car for my business , my husband having a near fatal motorbike accident and my children (they really struggle with secondary school and routine). My life was extremely hard with a car and life would've been impossible with out a car!

Frank suggested pleading guilty and then going for “extreme hardship”.

To make my situation ever more daunting - we were to have the hearing at Derby Magistrates court - they have a reputation of being absolutely brutal. They never ever grant extreme hardship and always give maximum sentences regardless of circumstances. We were warned by many people including other solicitors.

Frank was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to prepare for court and exactly what was required. Frank made me feel safe from the first email to our final fair well.

Frank and I prepared the “statement” detailed, yet “to the point” description of the lay out of my life - what my life would look like should I get a 6 month ban and how it would effect a lot of other people mainly my staff, clients, home, children and husband. Also how I understood the repercussion of my own actions that had led me to this out come, and should it happen again (if they do grant me extreme hardship) that I wouldn’t be given another chance a second time in court. Frank read my statement to the magistrates, I was so upset I don’t think I could’ve done it !

Frank and I also prepared a “bundle” of evidence papers for the magistrates to make reference too, which they excepted and took around 5 minutes to flick through, Frank had prepared copies for each magistrate.

The magistrates then granted me extreme hardship and let me keep my license, putting the 3 extra points on to my licence and a fine. 3 points had expired inbetween the offence and the court hearing. Now I am back up to 9 points and must be extremely careful until August to stick to every speed limit.

Frank really is magic from his communications, the way he speaks, his experience, wisdom, instincts, tact, his planning to his whole persona. I will be forever grateful to Frank for saving not only me but my business , family and my home !

Where do I start! Frank is a highly skilled and imposing defence Solicitor who I cannot thank enough. Franks calming nature, guidance, support and overall character helped me through one of the toughest experiences I have ever had to go through which I never thought I would be in. Frank defended me in a failure to provide a specimen of breath case and I would not have received the surprising outcome I received without him!
