We recently used Bonallack and Bishop Solicitors to adjust our earlier wills. We were served by Simon Speed, who guided us expertly through our rather complicated requirements. He was very thorough in his explanations and discussions of each step in our wills in our meeting and was very patient with our follow up emails, after we had received our draft wills and related comments, asking for further clarification of some of the legal language used and what it meant in terms of actions when the wills came into force. We couldn't have asked for better, or more efficient, service.

Terrible service and zero customer care
Very slow, only move forward after chasing them and almost filing a formal complaint twice
In 4 months that the process took, bearing in mind it was a freehold with no chain and the house was empty, saw a couple of people in the same conditions but with more responsive solicitors to manage everything in 6 weeks, they never answered a single phone call or call back, not even once.
One thing I know for certain, they will not be participating in any deal that I am involved, it will be a deal breaker.

Whilst the whole conveyancing business was dealt with online, the service felt personal and the team were professional, efficient and friendly throughout. The advice I received was sound and thorough. I was recommended to use Bonallack & Bishop by friends and would gladly recommend their services to others in future. All in all a painless process. Very happy.

Onboarded and paid a deposit to Bonallack & Bishop nearly 12 weeks ago for what should have been a simple staircasing process, they have made no contact with the housing association up until last week when i think they requested the draft memorandum for sale, after i made contact with one of their admin team via the freephone number(apparently the actual legal team don't answer their phones because 3rd call to them today and still not able to be put through!), now my valuation has expired and i am going to start incurring further fees if i continue with the process. We chose Bonallack & Bishop because 5 yrs ago when we made our initial purchase the service we received was excellent, how can things go so wrong in such a short space of time. If i'd known in February what i know now i would never have chosen them to represent us and will not be recommending them to anyone else in the future. Unless something changes drastically steer clear of this company.
