Not impressed by Levis although when the solicitor dealing with my case left, her replacement was much better. I could actually get in touch with her. The purchase of my flat took over six months to complete even though there was no chain and no mortgage involved. I was also charged initially for mortgage costs even though it was a cash buy.

Buying a property is far more stressful than I expected, and there were moments during my purchase where delays on the seller’s side — particularly when their solicitor was not responding to enquiries — really highlighted how important it is to have the right solicitors acting for you.
