Terrible experience with the solicitor Ian.
I am autistic and I suffer with anxiety depression.
I had some issue with my place of employment, my employer agreed to pay the Solicitor Ian to help calculate my case.
I feel he used used his expertise against my vulnerability.
I felt pressured by him to take a bad deal that wasn't in my favour.
I did express to him I don't like the deal, and he response wasn't not understanding and empathic; "it's a good deal", when i stall on the deal because i did not like the deal, he phoned me and said "this is time wasting, you need to find another solicitor, also if I don't take the deal I will now be responsible for the solicitor cost that the employer meant to pay".
I emailed him after the call because I unhappy the way he dealt with me. I also sent him further emails stating that i dont want phone calls i want to communicate through email instead.
He continuesly pressured me in taking unnecessary calls when I keep telling him, " i dont want calls, I prefer to communicate through emails".
The reason i did not left was because I just moved in to a new property and i did not have any money to pay him, and when you are autistic person with anxiety depression owing someone money is not good for my health so during one the forceful telephone i felt pressure and the thought of financial debt whilst out of work due to depression and a house with no furniture and my child need food to eat i just okay I'll take the deal.
Under a less stressful situation with a solicitor who's patient and caring I would not have taken the bad deal.

I'm not saying don't use this service, what i wrote is my experience.

Awful experience. They are delaying my partners house sale massively. No one is answering the phone or any emails. Enquiries have not been answered for weeks and documentation we need has not been sent. This has resulted in buyer pulling out for the second time. Extremely disappointing and very unprofessional.

Unprofessional and unhelpful. Our solicitors have been waiting for nearly 2 weeks for documents in order to proceed with our house sale. On calling, we were advised that they will only speak to solicitors, even though I am the person paying for their response. They will not take calls from our solicitor either. Other google reviews demonstrate that the issues are widespread and many people experience the same difficulties when using or dealing with this company.
Would not recommend.

Sold my business middle of September and still no invoice for surrender of lease despite two requests from my solicitors, two requests from my previous landlords and two requests directly from me via telephone tho they don’t like to deal directly!! Not sure what else to do as I need vat invoice to close my business that I sold in September yet they don’t bill . Maybe Hmrc can help with vat invoice situation (doubtful but who knows ) not good work in my opinion!!shoddy practice not professional
