I chose to use Hetts because of their experience with Leasehold and Freehold matters and have not been disappointed. I was initially uncertain about using an online solicitor but I was impressed by the positive feedback for Ashley Connell and decided to go ahead. After "shopping around" for firms of Solicitors who specialise in Lease Extensions, I came across Hetts website. Even though geographically they are not close to us (Lincolnshire to Essex), I am more than happy that we chose to use them for the two local authority lease extensions we required.
The price quoted was extremely competitive compared to other Solicitors with the required Lease Extension expertise based closer to us in Essex.
Dealing remotely with Ashley Connell was extremely easy, with quick responses by email to any questions that arose from our end.
Ashley explained each step clearly in easy to understand detail, including the lease premium cost negotiatons with the local authority that resulted in satisfactory outcomes.

We recently used Hetts to rewrite our wills, and Nicola Casey was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we fully understood each step, which really put us at ease.

Found Hetts on Google and was not sure if it’s prudent to engage with the Lease extension on my flat but after shopping around this was best option so I took a chance and never looked back. Ashley was super professional and promptly explained the steps and valuation approach. Once we have agreed on the premium with the Freeholder, and signed, we had to wait for many months (from around May to February) for this to be registered in the Land Register. All done now and I am so happy to leave this all behind and ever so grateful to Ashley at the Hetts. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.
