Terrible experience with these folks. My team has been attempting to get a wire transfer executed for our 90 year old UK client for nearly 2 months, and Leport has been unable/unwilling to facilitate this simple request. If a simple wire transfer is not something that they cannot manage to process properly I don’t see how they could successfully manage a complex legal question.

We needed a commercial lease witnessing. I went to 4 other solicitors in Banbury who either didn’t have the certification to witness the lease nor didn’t have the staff. I phoned Leport & Co Solicitors and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone, they asked to see the paperwork before confirming whether they could assist which they then advised they could. Mr Singh was very lovely, efficient and professional. Really quick service.

Absolutely superb service, I cannot rate them highly enough. We used them for legal advice on a loan, to draw up licences for rental units and sale of land. Excellent advice and brilliant at keeping you informed. I think they spoke to me on every occasion I phoned and if they couldn’t they always called back promptly. I wouldn’t use any other solicitors.

Following a need for some legal documents to be urgently advised upon and witnessed by a solicitor I sent enquiries to pretty much all of them local to me (12 in total). Just over half of them bothered to get back to me. Of those who did reply a couple quoted ridiculous fees which were two or three times more expensive than Leport and Co for exactly the same service. Of the ones that quoted a fair price there were not many who could accommodate me at such short notice.

I rang Leport and Co and explained the urgency required and the secretary managed to make time for an appointment with Mr Singh the next day. Once at the appointment it was realised that I had not filled in all the forms completely, yet Mr Singh went over and above what was asked of him and advised upon the completion of these at no extra cost. I'm sure the solicitors I've used before would have charged me an additional fee!

I later found that I had made an error (completely my fault!) and needed the forms witnessing again. I contacted Mr Singh who, understanding my situation, managed to make time for an appointment the very next day. I asked him how he would like me to make payment for this additional appointment and he said he would not require any further payment!

Again, this was a pleasant surprise and not the type of experience I've had from solicitors in the past.

I fully intend to use Leport and Co for any of my legal services in the future.
