HAWLEY & RODGERS

Awful. Emily Knight is the worst solicitor I’ve ever dealt with, lazy and incompetent. Put in a formal complaint about her which was ignored by Hawley and Rodger’s completely, I’ve now taken my case to the legal ombudsman.

Absolutely shocking. I honestly do not know how Hawley & Rodgers manage to stay in business. My sale consisting of no chain took far longer than expected. I appreciate that delays can happen but the lack of correspondence or agreed updates was well below satisfactory. I believe that the delayed timescale was due to incompetence at Hawley & Rodgers. I was shown emails from the buyers solicitors proving that questions I was only just being asked (after I made contact with with H&R) had been sent weeks earlier to Charley. Luckily I was speaking directly with my buyer who was able to pass on important information to allow the sale to continue. On top of the poor service throughout, my invoice is more than my original quote. I am now trying to dispute this and Louise or Charley refuse to take my phonecalls. AVOID!

Wow! Lisa made the entire buying and selling process go like clockwork, we could not have achieved our deadlines without her incredible effort and eye for detail. Our move would not have been possible in the time frame we had without her. Cannot recommend enough.

Scott Wilkinson ensured everything went through both very quickly and smoothly. He was always there at the end of the phone and from my first phone call he was very welcoming and friendly which is why I chose him and I wasn't disappointed. Will definitely recommend.

Paul Meffin and the team helped me complete a complicated house sale with little effort. I was able to leave everything in their capable hands from start to finish, with the team liaising with the original house builders, estate agents and the vendors.
