After a bad experience with another firm, Berwins was a breath of fresh air. They made my house purchase incredibly simple and stress-free. Asked for there help with a re-mortgage matter.
They asked for proof of address as an ID check (understandable of course) I was unable to provide this at the time as I'd recently moved address. I told them I no longer requite there services.

I then received a bill of over £100. Apparently the letter they asked me to fill out must have been gold plated because I don't see how they came up with such a hefty figure. It's hardly like I'd have consumed a lot of their time either as all they did was send me a letter to which i filled out and returned. The matter proceeded no further after I told them I no longer required their help.
Clearly just a greedy money grabbing firm who was annoyed that they couldn't get more money out of myself and therefore sent a massive bill my way for the sake of sending me a letter NOTHING ELSE.

Highly disappointed.

Khal and Dianne were exceptional with our house purchase and sale. With the increased volume of transactions as a result of the stamp duty removal window we did not encounter any delays to their emails. This company handled a leasehold extension that took longer than Brexit to negotiate. The matter was purchase of a freehold followed by a deed of alteration in respect to extant leases. When the documentation finally arrived and was forwarded it to the Land Registry there were several mistakes which necessitated correction and resubmission. It was impossible to contact the people dealing with this case directly and my emails were ignored. Avoid if you are in a rush and want a professional level of service.

I have had dealings with both the Life Team and the Conveyancing Team at Berwins over the last 10 months. My experience has been extremely positive. Every service I required of the Berwins staff was dealt with efficiently, professionally and with patience. Nothing was too much trouble and all questions (of which there were lots!) were answered almost immediately.
