I had an extremely disappointing experience dealing with Rupert Barnes from CVS Law Ltd. He acted as the seller’s conveyancer in my property purchase last year, and his service was nothing short of unprofessional.

Throughout the process, Rupert was slow to respond, made multiple errors in his work, and even hung up on me when I called to clarify urgent matters. This was a time-sensitive auction case, yet his inefficiency caused unnecessary delays and frustration. To make matters worse, as the buyer, I was forced to cover his legal fees—a staggering £9,240—which was completely unreasonable.

If you are looking for a conveyancer who is responsive, competent, and professional, I would strongly advise against using Rupert Barnes. My experience left me feeling completely mugged off, and I wouldn’t recommend his services to anyone in need of efficient legal assistance.
