Ms Joshi recently organised my will and Lasting Powers of Attorneys. Our meetings were very cordial and the work was carried out both efficiently and promptly. I would recommend her without hesitation.

1.Incorrect advice was provided.

2.We were not advised that, in order to obtain a Power of Attorney, any existing arrangements would need to be revoked.

3. We were informed that any expenses would be covered from the assets of the individual for whom we were seeking to obtain a Lasting Power of Attorney; however, we ultimately had to pay these costs ourselves.

4.Limited guidance was provided regarding the difficulty of obtaining a mental capacity assessment.

Overall, we feel that we did not receive sufficient information.

I was a little apprehensive about making a will, but I found Avenue Solicitors explained everything in simple language. Certain things that could arise in the future were brought to my attention.
If I should die suddenly, it is a relief to know that my family will have the minimum of fuss dealing with my estate, and in the meantime I can get on with living the rest of my life with that knowledge.
