I cannot comment on the quality of the legal service itself, as I never had the opportunity to use this firm. However, my experience with their initial customer service was disappointing.

I contacted the firm twice to request a conveyancing quote for a property purchase. On both occasions, my details were taken and I was told someone would contact me, but I never received a call back. When I called the second time, it appeared there was no record of my previous enquiry, which was frustrating.

As I was keen to get the purchase process started, I could not continue waiting and had to instruct another solicitor instead. I appreciate that firms can be busy, but a simple courtesy call or update would have been appreciated, even if there was a delay in providing a quote.

It's a shame, as this firm was recommended to me and I was hoping to use them. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the lack of communication came across as unprofessional and resulted in a poor first impression.

Alexander and Co were amazing from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Kate Barry and Beth Norris. They treat you as humans rather than numbers. For example, we were first time buyers and a seller pulled out on a Friday afternoon out of the blue. Even though it was 5pm on a Friday, Kate answered my call and reassured me that all would be ok and I should contact Kate when needed on our next potential property.
