I cannot recommend my solicitor highly enough. A couple of years ago, he successfully represented me in not just one, but two separate cases against my employer, and the results were outstanding.
From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, confident, and completely dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for me. He took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and always made me feel supported during what was a very stressful time.
I have never posted a review before now because they are not the type of firm that chases reviews or relies on them professionally as their work and reputation speak for themselves. However, after recently having a poor experience with another solicitors firm in Wigan during my house sale, it really made me reflect on the level of professionalism, communication, and dedication I previously received here. It reminded me that exceptional solicitors genuinely deserve recognition and appreciation for the work they do. We had an excellent experience with Platt and Fishwick throughout our recent house move. From our offer being accepted on 15/12/2025 to moving into our new home on 27/02/2026, the whole process was handled efficiently and at great speed.
A special mention must go to Leslie Davies and her team, who were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were professional, proactive, and always on hand to answer any questions, keeping everything moving smoothly and reducing what can often be a stressful process.
We truly appreciated their hard work, communication, and dedication to getting everything completed so quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home.

Absolutely Terrible service, They are rude ,very poor in getting a replying back , they are ment to act on your behalf they are not intrested in the slightest. talk about stretching things out . money for old rope bad experience never again . Thank goodness for other solicitors..

Very poor communication which lead to delays. Until the end spoke to numerous people who couldnt answer things. We had to do all the chasing for sale and purchase. Emails went unanswered and calls not returned until you demand someone to ring you, even then it was slow.
They show little respect for clients that pay a lot of money for their service and you do half the work.
Sadly I would not reccommend using them
