Shocking service from the owner. He was extremely rude and unprofessional whilst i was already stressed going through a divorce. Would not recommend at all.

Extremely disappointed with GHW Solicitors. They dealt with my late brother’s estate from the middle of last year and into this year. Staff rarely kept the family updated we had to ‘chase them up ‘ many times as the year progressed. In the middle of everything the trainee solicitor who had been tasked to deal with my late brother’s estate - she had been involved for approximately 8 months - left the practice ….. resulting in another member of staff having to take over. This exacerbated the already very slow progress and lack of communication.
My family were more than aware and fully understood that dealing with a late persons estate takes time. However to be left for weeks without any contact from GHW Solicitors and on occasions made to feel like we were being a nuisance if we either rang or called into their premises - was totally unacceptable from a Professional Solicitors Practice.

Several months ago we were asked by the solicitor dealing at GHW if we could provide them with 2 important pieces of paperwork which they needed from us . We did this and we were informed that the paperwork would be given back to the family once their enquiries were completed. However we have recently been informed they have ‘misplaced’ the paperwork !! Again unacceptable!

I could go on a lot longer ! I would think carefully before using GHW Solicitors if it involves your late loved one.

We have just completed a house sale which was handled by Jess at GHW Solicitors in Ramsbottom. All of the staff I met were friendly and professional, and Jess kept us informed and updated throughout the process. GHW also have the added advantage of being local to me - it was easy to call in to drop off or sign documents. Yes - you might save a few quid with an online solicitor - but for me keeping it local and being able to pop in and discuss things face to face if needed is worth paying a bit extra for. Highly recommended

We used the legal services of GHW solicitors when moving house. Sarah and Jessica made the entire process move along smoothly and at a good pace. They kept in regular contact throughout and they were always available when needed to answer any queries and provided updates in a clear and understandable way. We would highly recommend.
