Lovely experience and really friendly!

Very good solicitor's they handle my needs professionally. Highly recommend.

One star means they completed their job BUT in an uninformative and extremely slow, time consuming and unhelpful way.

It took roughly 9 months to extend a leasehold and sell a flat (This process was completed late last year - Since then, to purchase a house I've moved to other solicitors and been much more satisfied).

With Gullands, different staff dealing with lease extension and flat sales were separately okay to speak to.

Gullands overall however, were extremely slow or impolite at responding. They wouldn't return calls but they might randomly cc you in to a relatively small percentage of emails.

The estate agents and others involved, informed me a lot better about progression, or lack thereof.

Two examples of this:

Gullands member of staff went on 2 week holiday without adequate cover.

LPE1 form - Nothing had happened for a notable amount of time before another company involved said they were awaiting it. I had to Google what it was, paid for it and had submitted it before I was rudely informed by Gullands that they were about to get to me about it.

Ultimately the process was completed but not in a satisfying way whatsoever.

I recently moved house and was recommended Alan Williams at Gullands by a friend. I was very happy with the service. Alan nearly always came back to me by the end of the day. I spent no time chasing for answers, unlike the rest of the people in the chain! As Alan said, 'you can only go as fast as the slowest person'' which is so true. I was very glad I had used both him and Gullands.

Excellent service from Alan Williams at Gullands Solicitors. He explained each step of my house purchase, kept me well informed and best of all always replied immediately to messages and emails.

My purchase went through very quickly and smooth. I would definitely recommend him.
