I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience using Tinklin Springall Solicitors during a recent lease extension matter.

Towards the end of the process, Samantha Wicks' email account was compromised. When concerns were raised regarding suspicious communications, rather than investigating the issue professionally, Samantha became highly defensive and suggested that one of our own email accounts must have been compromised. This was despite the fact that the suspicious emails appeared to originate from her account.

Only after escalating the matter directly with the firm was it eventually confirmed that Samantha's email account had in fact been compromised. As a result, my siblings and I came dangerously close to transferring a substantial sum of money to a fraudster. Thankfully, we identified the issue before any funds were sent.

I appreciate that the firm may point out that their correspondence states they will not notify clients of bank detail changes by email. However, that does not excuse the way our concerns were handled when we first raised them. The lack of accountability and dismissive response to what was a very serious security issue was deeply concerning.

Although we have now successfully completed the lease extension, the experience left us with little confidence in the firm. Based on how this matter was handled, I would not use Tinklin Springall Solicitors again and would not recommend them to others.

I've now used Tinklin Springall three times for a variety of issues and each time I have found them to be professional, helpful, efficient and reasonably priced. Lasca, Valerie and the wider Tinklin Springall team were always easy to deal with, and helped me navigate a number of potentially tricky issues with the minimum of fuss. I would have no hesitation using them again in the future.

This is the third time either my husband or I have used Tinklin Springall for the sale of a property. Each time Brooke has dealt with us and has been efficient and professional throughout. She kept us regularly updated and helped deal with any queries. I would thoroughly recommend using Brooke.
