We had an excellent experience with our solicitors during the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new one in May.
We worked with Nicky Marsh on the purchase and Vicktoria Brookes on the sale, and both were fantastic. They were always helpful, responded promptly to our emails, and patiently answered all of our questions.
Our purchase wasn't straightforward, but Nicky handled everything professionally and worked incredibly hard to get it over the line. We're very grateful for all their support and would highly recommend their services.

We used these solicitors when moving house. There was no conversation or introduction just a portal and demands for information. When we did need to contact them about anything the responses were agonisingly slow. The information provided throughout the service was poor. On completion they miscalculated our invoice and then contacted us several months later to claw back the money. Little by way of apology or recognition. We would not use again or recommend. By contrast, the Solicitors we used for the purchase of our new house were incredible. Just shows that it is worth shopping around and that it isn't always best to go with the service recommended by the estate agent.

We used penny stevens white for a property sale, totally incompetent, lied about work that she had done, we chased to get anywhere, eventually went with another solicitor. Stay away from this firm.

Unfortunately, my experience with Nicky Marsh, who was appointed as my conveyancing solicitor, was disappointing. As a first-time buyer, I found her email communication to be unnecessarily rude, which made the process more stressful than it needed to be. Additionally, I found it extremely difficult to get in touch by phone, despite repeated attempts over several months.
After completing the purchase, I shared feedback on my experience in the hope it might be taken on board, but it was dismissed and not acknowledged meaningfully. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this solicitor firm.

Worst experience ever I ended up losing the property I was purchasing because of my solicitor incompetence. Do yourself a favour and do not use this firm specifically Lucinda Douglas. She never answered my calls, very poor updates, very blunt and she managed to get my mortgage offer cancelled!!! But of course they want me to pay the bill anyway.
Please stay way from them.
