I instructed Commercial Law Practice following a recommendation from my estate agent. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them.

While the staff were polite, the quality of the conveyancing was poor. Communication was a persistent issue throughout the process. They struggled to engage effectively with other conveyancers and agents in the chain, relying almost exclusively on email and appearing reluctant to pick up the phone. This caused unnecessary delays, particularly as emails were often ignored by others involved.

They may be adequate for a very straightforward transaction, but I did not feel they worked proactively or robustly on my behalf.

I was also concerned by a strange exchange in which the conveyancer insisted I had been offered a choice between a part-time or full-time conveyancer. I was never clearly given such a choice, and in any case, I paid the same fee regardless—so it would have been obvious to opt for a full-time conveyancer had that option genuinely been presented.

Overall, based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this firm.

She was incredibly thorough, professional, and always made time to explain things clearly, which really put my mind at ease. If i could give 6 stars i would! Can't recommend enough!
