Extremely professional, very caring, always informative to me and explained everything to me that I understood what was happening and always there for me anytime. They made a difficult time a lot easier for me. I am so very grateful to Michael and all of his team.

FBC are useless. 7 years later and they're still unable to administer my mother's estate despite receiving probate some years ago. Their responses are slow and in some instances non existent, I wholeheartedly cannot recommend.

Unfortunately, we used FBC Manby Bowdler when purchasing our first home in 2020, initially attracted by their competitive quote. However, our experience was frustrating from the start. Our main contact often seemed unaware of the progress of our case, rarely responded to emails, and was difficult to reach by phone. At one point, we even visited in person as the chain was being delayed due to a lack of progress on our side. What should have been a straightforward process ended up taking three months.
I am writing this review now because, unfortunately, we had to deal with them again during our recent move, as they were acting for our seller. The same issues arose, poor communication and delays. Both our solicitor and the seller’s estate agent repeatedly had to chase them for updates, and our buyer was even threatening to pull out due to the lack of progress.
On the day of completion, the situation became extremely stressful. FBC had not released the funds, leaving us stuck in limbo with removal vans waiting. We drove to the seller’s estate agent to try to speed things up and waited there from 12pm while attempting to contact the seller’s solicitor. We were told she was on her lunch break, so we waited even longer while costs continued to rise. When we called back, we were told by a colleague to stop calling.
We finally received the keys at 3pm and didn’t finish moving into our new home until 9pm.
In future, I will be checking which solicitor the seller is using, and will be very cautious if it is FBC Manby Bowdler.

When my son was a pedestrian who was hit by a car and suffered a traumatic brain injury, our entire lives changed in an instant. We were thrown into a world of fear, confusion and unimaginable uncertainty. It felt as though we had fallen into a black hole and I had no idea where to turn.
While searching online for support, I came across Headway, who advised that in cases like this, the sooner a specialist solicitor becomes involved, the better the outcome for the injured party. I reached out directly to Susan Todhunter at Manby Bowler Solicitors in Wolverhampton, and that single decision changed everything. Susan and the entire team at Manby
Bowler have shown incredible professionalism, dedication and care throughout. They have always put my son's needs, his future and his wellbeing first, while supporting me his mom every step of the way.
Manby Bowler did not just take on a legal case - they gave us hope, direction and reassurance when we needed it most. I will be forever grateful and cannot recommend Susan Todhunter and Manby Bowler Solicitors highly enough. Truly exceptional.

Unfortunately had to deal with Alison a few times in the past. Only leaving this review now near enough a year later. Mainly because 1) I wanted to put the whole incident behind me and 2) I forgot how terrible the whole ordeal was. It's only because I am in the process of looking for a solicitor, I have come across FC manby bowler on Google I thought I would share my experience. Alison was really really slow. Very difficult to work with. She wasn't even my solicitor. She was representing a third party in a business sale and she was absolutely pathetic. Took weeks replying. I had to personally chase FC manby bowler on numerous occasions to get her to reply. It's only when I threatened to lodge complaints when she started replying. Cost me loads of money due to her delays. And funnily enough how she was always away on holiday. Then a sickness. Then a holiday. What a joker. I cannot blame her client who she was representing as he also agreed how poor she was in responding. I've also had to deal with FC Mandy bowler on another occasion with a different solicitor Zainab. On a completely different matter. Again not representing me, but another party I was dealing with. She was very incompetent, made numerous mistakes and just confused her client so much with her mistakes. I have strongly encouraged her client to leave a bad review but she won't. Lucky Zainab. So I thought I'd share my experience of this firm. Meant to be one of the best in Wolverhampton. I don't think so. All solicitors are difficult but these lot are something else. I ended up using Jacobs Law in Birmingham with Noreen and Sarah. Absolutely amazing service. Chalk and cheese. Avoid FC manby bowler with a barge pole!. And I'm more than happy to receive any reply if there is a comeback from this review from this firm. I'm sure you can figure out how to reach me.
Sorry for the long rant People. But hope you find this useful
