Do not use this firm. The staff are rude, and I was given false information to push me into taking a guilty plea. I represented myself in court and won.

Mr. Bains was my solicitor, and he told me to hurry up and didn’t want to hear what I had to say because he had lunch reservations. He also asked me to sign a piece of paper and then wrote something above my signature, which I was not allowed to see.

I have used Ammo Bains several times over a 25 year period, not for anything major but every time I have called he has always taken my call and been an absolute model professional in his field.
His knowledge and the background work he does with your case is second to none and when he couldn't represent me and accompany me to court (it was the 12th hearing after 11 adjournments in 18 long months!) he sent a BARRISTER to represent me who got my case thrown out in less than 30 minutes, I hadn't done anything wrong anyway but it just demonstrates his efforts of going above and beyond for his clients.
I would very highly recommend asking for Bains Solicitors if you ever need one as they are so much better and consistent than a duty solicitor. Anytime of day or night the police have Ammo Bains mobile number so he sure to ask for his firm and for him because you won't go wrong by doing so!!

I had a small matter to deal with that no other solicitor in Wellingborough could be bothered to help with.
Mr Bains was immediately able to sort my problem.
Thank you very much for that.
His price was very reasonable as well.
Hopefully I'll never require the services of a criminal lawyer, but if I do this is the firm I'd hire.

Edit: sent a complaint email to the solicitor i spoke woth and received a call from a different solicitor at the same branch. Turned out they hadn't claimed and were incredibly helpful. Just shows the approach varies from.solicitor to solicito4. Amending the review from a 1* will amend again if required once case has an outcome as they will represent my child

Having received a letter at my address summarising event I phoned up, solicitor was incredibly rude, they didn't speak to my child (under 18) didn't advise him but post police event claimed legal aid and wrote him a summary letter. Unethical behaviour when he didn't instruct them or give his permission for them to act on his behalf. I will be reported to action fraud accordingly.
