Used Williams & Co Wakefield in conjunction with GoodMove to sell my mother's home in Leicester - Kieran was excellent and worked very hard for a fast turnaround in just 10 working days. Cassie Land at Williams and Co Wakefield provides an adequate conveyancing service for buyers and sellers. I have used her twice and both experiences were disappointing. Clients should expect poor communication; few to no uninvited updates; slow progress; defensiveness when dissatisfaction is aired; unmet promises to call or email back; mistakes; and key staff frequently being out of the office, working from home, or otherwise unavailable. The more recent purchase took far longer than needed, especially given that it was a simple non-chain transaction. I have spared them a one-star review because, to my knowledge, they were at least honest and did complete the transactions without any catastrophic mistakes - the lowest possible performance bar. I gave Cassie two bites at the cherry as she was recommended by a respected property professional. She will not be getting a third.

I have had many experiences with conveyance Sols. the past and i have to say WILLIAMS and Co have managed my accounts thus far with impeccable professionalism and skill. I have found Kieron, Heather and ALL of the other staff polite with a determination to overcome the many obstacles presented. The 'NONSENSE' about certification for free light and air was explained to me simply which demonstrated how protocols imposed have to be addressed by conveyance solicitors .... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ....

I used Williams and Co as conveyancing solicitors for a house purchase. They were functional in the process but failed to highlight some key issues. Their failure to flag these to me and ask certain questions, resulted in delays and increased costs to the development of the property. I will not be using them again.

Terrible service. Ignoring emails also ignored phone calls. I had to do most of the leg work myself which really doesn’t help with the stress of selling or buying a house or flat. Eg I had to call the management group multiple times which was indeed their job not mine. Also this services incurred me extra cost due to the bad slow service of about £750! (Storage costs, extra service costs, all bills etc) as they didn’t make the completion date. DO NOT USE!
