Diabolical establishment , recommended to AVIOD!!!
Had a meeting with Nick Dymond regarding deeds to our property , which cost north of £600, heard nothing from Windeats, had to keep chasing them up for progress. 4 months later, Windeats finally called back and said they were too busy to deal with it.

Nick Cheshire at Windeatts, Kingsbridge helped us with what might seem a trivial matter – defending a parking fine unjustifiably imposed by a private parking company. We were determined not to cave in to the bullying and pay it but were beginning to be worn down by the threatening letters received since 2021. Nick wrote to them on our behalf and they conceded and closed the case.
We found Nick (and everyone else we dealt with at Windeatts) to be courteous and helpful. He pointed out to us that it would cost more to defend than give in and was clear about the estimated costs, and any updates. Communication was excellent and calls were returned promptly. All in all, very good value for money and we will happily take any future legal matters to Windeatts

We recently sought legal advice from Fiona Hughes at Windeatts Solicitors regarding a contract issue, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. From the outset, communication was a major problem—emails went unanswered for weeks, and when we finally received a response, it was vague and unhelpful.
Not only did Fiona fail to provide a clear solution to our issue, but her advice also lacked any real direction, leaving us no better off than when we started. After weeks of delays and unproductive exchanges, we were forced to seek guidance from another firm, who promptly resolved the matter with ease.
Given the poor communication and lack of practical advice, I cannot recommend Fiona Hughes for contract-related legal matters. This experience has been disappointing enough that we will not be using Windeatts Solicitors again.

We engaged Fiona Hughes at Windeatts Solicitors for advice on a contract issue and were extremely disappointed with the service provided. Her advice was not only unhelpful but also restrictive, limiting our ability to navigate the issue effectively within our consultancy. Despite this, we were charged £600 for what amounted to little more than an exercise in frustration.
Communication was another major issue—Fiona took three weeks to respond to emails, causing unnecessary delays. Frustrated with the lack of progress, we sought advice from another law firm, who swiftly resolved the matter and even expressed disbelief at the responses we had previously received.
Given this experience, I strongly advise against engaging Fiona Hughes for contract law or litigation matters. While we have used Windeatts in the past for business lease agreements, this latest interaction has been disappointing enough that we will no longer be recommending them. After raising my concerns via email, I received no satisfactory resolution, reinforcing my decision to take our business elsewhere.
