I appointed David Barney and Co to handle both the purchase of my new property and the sale of my existing one, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received from start to finish.

Communication was second to none and the team kept me fully informed at every stage, promptly answering any questions I had. In what can often be a stressful and drawn-out process — especially completing on both properties the same day — they made the whole thing feel smooth and straightforward. I always knew the next steps which gave me real peace of mind. Beverly and Lauren were especially helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with.

We purchased our first house ten years ago. Our solicitor then was uncommunicative; didn't have enough staff to cover and our purchase took close to six months in a short chain - everyone agreed that our solicitor then was what kept up the entire chain.

Dealing with Beverly, Mark and the rest of the team was a very refreshing change. All queries were responded to promptly and everyone involved seemed to know exactly what was going on with our sale/purchase. We again found ourselves in a relatively short chain - but this time everything was done in just over 8 weeks. The various estate agents we spoke to predicted about 12 weeks at best so we were quite impressed.

Our purchase was somewhat more complex, made difficult by some mortgage issues, than we had initially hoped.
