WARNING. DO NOT USE. RIP OFF.
We used Jackson lees to sell a house.
After getting a quote over the phone it seemed average so we went with it.

From the get go they were painfully slow and even asking me to contact the buyers solicitor on multiple occasions.

Finally on completion of the sale they divided the funds accordingly which consisted of paying off a loan and sending me the remanding balance.

They even took out a £500 insurance to send my moneys. Surely that’s there job.
I also had final settlement cost from the loan company with Jackson lees stating they had paid £2000 more than the settlement fee actually was.
To top this off they charged us £3800 plus VAT instead of the £930 (average for a sale) verbally quoted.
I am currently seeking legal advice from elsewhere to claim funds back from this solicitors.
In total I believe we are over £5000 out of pocket by using these.
I would personally NEVER use these again and I will be highly advising anyone thinking about using these to think again.

My son bought a property and used Jackson less Harry Barnett solictor is excellent when my son needed to call him he was always there to answer his queries i would recommend this company they really on top of all the paperwork that needs filling out and from the buyers solictor no dragging around waiting for papers to be filled in so i will be using this company again for myself

After reaching out for help regarding medical negligence my elderly mother faced in hospital roughly 2 years ago, they staff at Jackson Lees have been nothing but professional and supportive services. They have given my mother guidance in areas she struggled to understand. They have been very collaborative with the defence team in arranging for a fair settlement. They have always sustained us with clear communication throughout the process to ensure everything was proceeded with informed choices and time to make decisions. They made sure to use 3rd party services to gain expert knowledge and oppinion on the injuries sustained and further impact potential. Overall a very professional and compassionate service. The preparation of my Will was excellent. Instructions were taken and everything discussed in detail to make sure it was accurate and in accordance with my wishes. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot fault Chris and Jen for their help and advice.
