We are extremely dissatisfied with the handling of this case, which has now been subject to unacceptable and prolonged delay. Nearly two years after the original incident, a necessary medical examination remains outstanding, with no confirmed appointment and no clear timetable provided, despite repeated assurances that the matter is being progressed.

This level of delay is indefensible. We made the importance of this assessment clear from the outset and even offered to fund the examination privately to avoid further delay. This offer was refused without any adequate explanation, leaving us in a position where no progress has been made and no viable alternative has been provided.

In the meantime, our child has been left without the support he requires, while we as parents have had to absorb ongoing financial and emotional costs. Independent psychological evidence confirms that he continues to suffer trauma-related symptoms, including anxiety, nightmares, and significant emotional distress directly linked to the incident. Against that backdrop, the continued inaction is deeply concerning.

There has been a consistent lack of transparency, accountability, and effective case management. Despite repeated follow-ups, we have not been provided with a clear explanation of what actions have actually been taken, why this delay has been allowed to continue, or when the situation will be resolved.

At this stage, the handling of this matter raises serious concerns regarding professional standards, duty of care, and overall case management. The absence of any meaningful progress after such an extended period is not acceptable.

Unless this matter is now addressed with urgency and a clear resolution is provided, we will have no option but to pursue further escalation, including seeking independent review of the handling of this case.
